La Isla Shopping Village Tours

We had a great time. Please note, if you're going w/ kids, they need to be 16 to drive w/ an adult on the back or 18 to drive alone. Maybe this is clearly spelled out but we missed this. The photos were amazing- the best quality photos I have of us in a long time. We got to go fast and swim in the ocean. Overall, a great experience!

We had a good time the boat ride was fun and exciting the beach at Isla Mujeres was so calm and beautiful really enjoyed spending the day there.

The experience on board was amazing, the crew took very good care of us and the trip was better than expected. If you bring your own car keep in mind that there is no parking, they have a place where they park your car and is $400MXN all day, which we didn’t know. There is always other alternatives like U er which we took and is way cheaper, and you have to pay approximately $1000MXN for taxes per person. Bring a hat and sun block because there is a lot of sun and your skin will suffer the consequences. It is an amazing experience and you will enjoy it. If you plan on doing the reef snorkeling which is the first stop wear sun block or sun tan after since the chemicals affect pretty badly the reef.

We were hesitant to go into Cancun not knowing anything about Mexico so I messaged the company directly to ask a few questions and Franklin made everything so easy to plan and was very laid back and when we met him he was very kind, gentle and humble. From the moment he picked us up, I knew we had made the right decision.We wanted to shop a little more for Souvenirs since we are on a shorter time limit here and didn’t really know what to do. Franklin customized an itinerary for us and helped me and my 12 year old daughter whatever we were looking for, he also negotiated for us and made sure we knew if the price was a good deal or if we should move on since a lot of venders sell the same or similar products. As we made our way further into the market people were much more helpful and their prices were much better compared to where we started. Franklin refused commission when offered to entice us to buy from them, and asked the to just give us the best price that they could. We walked out feeling accomplished and that we had saved a ton of money compared to what we would have spent without him.He was very straight forward, pulling us aside at times and explaining how everything worked and was completely transparent about everything that was happening.Since we had two children (15, and 12) and don’t drink much we opted out of the tequila tasting.Franklin then brought us to an ice cream shop and to an amazing authentic Mexican restaurant and we took many pictures at the Cancun sign there.He offered to take us to the other Cancun sign for more pictures but all of us were exhausted by that time and very full 😂If you want to go to Cancun with someone who knows where to go, explains the culture to you and helps you instead of letting you flounder, then this is the tour for you. It’s not just about shopping, it’s the experience. And Franklin made sure we had a great experience from pick up to drop off.

What a delightful tour…..all due to Franklin—- he is engaging and knowledgeable Personable and kind We loved the substance of the tour but it was Franklin who made it special First stop was the jewelry store. I’ve repped many jewelry makers so I recognize stones and quality This store and its staff are impressive in their knowledge and quality Next was the tequila tasting Not really my thing but we all enjoyed it Ferdinand led the tasting He’s fun and knowledgeable We Noticed that Franklin has a connection w these folks and he hand chooses them for the tours Next was Market 28 Fascinating Clean Safe Good variety Franklin talked to us about what to do and how to bargain He stepped In and helped Much appreciated Lunch was at Tacos and Tequila —-he did ask what kind of food we wanted Tacos of course! Yummy and a gorgeous setting Last stop was at a public beach w a huge CANCUN sign Great photo op Too soon we were back at our resort and hugging Franklin goodbye We will remember him forever Franklin thank you for helping me with some subtleties of the Spanish language Thank you for a wonderful and educational day!

The guide Franklin was fantastic and helped us with advice. He gave us negotiating tips and shared his experience. Franklin also provided history of things we saw as we traveled between locations. He also recommended places to eat

I shopped around a lot trying to choose which shopping trip to pick. I picked the BEST ONE! This was so above and beyond what any of us expected!! Our tour guide took us where we wanted to go and when! The biggest and best part of it all was that our guys actually got out and shopped right with us! All 3 of us felt so safe with this! And a true gentleman because he carried of our items and bags around for us. Helped us when we don’t know english! This trip I would recorded to anyone and everyone of all ages!! You WONT regret it!!!

We had a wonderful time with our tour guide Franklin. He was very patient and friendly. He gave us a good explanation about each place we went. For sure, we recommend this experience to everyone who wants to explore more about Cancun with a very knowledgeable private tour guide.

A definite must do if you enjoy snorkeling. The only obstacle may be getting back into your boat after the snorkeling.

This was a great private shopping tour! We got to grab our souvenirs and explore areas outside our hotel, guide was extremely helpful in leading us to what we wanted and provided great tips while shopping! Would definitely recommend if you do not have a car!!

Pick up was easy. Our guide was Franklin and he was absolutely great. I was traveling with my elderly parents and he did an awesome job helping with them, especially my Father who has dementia, he was kind and patient. He took us to some highlights of cancun. The van was air-conditioned and he kept us hydrated. Thank you Franklin.
