We were back at the hotel in the afternoon in time to sit at the pool & later have dinner with family. Lunch was not provided, but we stopped at a convenience store & also stopped for restroom breaks. We avoided the heat, crowds, traffic, & vendors with our early morning tour. This was the most beautiful water I have ever seen. Our tour guide Uncle Bob and the crew were all amazing. Great vibes, very relaxing & very clean boat. We brought our 2 year old and 6 year old and we all felt very safe. During this trip you get time on the island and we rented a golf cart and drove around. Uncle Bob (tour guide) pointed us in the right direction to get the best experience. 10/10 on the whole day.

Booked direct via Xel ha website. The Xel ha bus picked us up on time from our hotel in playa del Carmen. We took 45 minutes to get there. Brilliant host telling us all the do’s and don'ts enroute. Park is spotless. Towels available for free. Head for the red zone because this is central. Lockers are free. Suncream is banned apart from reef friendly brands. Snorkels included, scanned out and in by your wrist band. Restaurants good quality and drinks brilliant. We had 9.5 hour day here and loved every minute! Beach shoes a must. Ladies/girls wear some shorts, much more comfy with the life jacket strap between your legs.
