You will discover the 2nd biggest reef wall in the world, you will see a huge variety of fish of all colors and sizes and the most important you will be in a sea world surround of all kinds of live corals.
We recommend bringing a towel, swimming suit, and comfortable flip flops. It is important to mention that you must use biodegradable sunblock in order to protect the marine life.
Due to our commitment to safety, we have all sanitation requirements from the government, our collaborators use all the protective equipment and our boats are sanitized daily and are constantly cleaned as are our vans.

Meeting and Pickup
If your hotel is not listed, means you need to go to a special meeting point, please let us know in which hotel are you gonna stay so a representative of our company can contact you to indicate the meeting point and pick-up time.This service has two different schedules, the first one is for a morning tour and the pick up is at: CANCUN AND PLAYA DEL CARMEN ZONE between 8:00 to 8:30 am, TULUM ZONE between 7:00 to 8:00 am. We will be arriving to the park at 9:30 am.The second is for a noon tour and the pick up is at: CANCUN AND PLAYA DEL CARMEN ZONE between 12:00 to 12:30 Pm, TULUM ZONE between 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. We will be arriving to the park at 1:30 pm.The schedules vary according to the hotel, our representative will indicate the exact pick up time via mail or via text message. For Tulum hotels and airbnbs the special meeting point will be Super Aki Tulum Supermarket at downtown. Please consider transportation times for your pick up and drop off.
What To Expect
We will pick you up at your hotel or meeting point. Then we will go to Puerto Morelos that is one of the iconic fisherman towns in Mexico.
There we will board our pristine boat to start our adventure. First, we will sail up to the reef national park that is considered the 2nd biggest reef wall of the world, imagine all the underwater beauty, we will be snorkeling for about 45 min. Have you seen a coral in its natural environment?. It´s amazing, you need to do this once in your life.
After the snorkeling activity, we will go to our private beach club where we will have our Mexican snack (tacos) and then we will make a walking tour throw the heart of Puerto Morelos, here the local people will show us the handicrafts of the region.
Indulge in the flavors of our Tequila Tasting while immersing yourself in a Cultural Walk that unravels the mysteries of the Mayan civilization. Explore the intriguing history of chewing gum, vanilla, cochinita, and the Mayan calendar.
After that, we will start our return to our hotel or meeting point. This is a must activity for travelers that visit Mexico

Yes, we allow pregnant women to go on snorkeling. However, it’s crucial to consult with your healthcare provider before doing so to assess your individual health and pregnancy stage.
Jan 2022Yes, this is possible, as long as you are comfortable going into the water. All Cool Cancun snorkeling tours adhere to strict safety regulations and have been designed to be enjoyed by all.
Your safety is our #1 priority, which is why:
- You will be wearing a flotation device at all times.
- On many tours, there is a stairway from the boat into the water so you won’t have to “jump” in!
- There are trained staff in the water and watching from the boat at all times.
For these reasons, we believe that even non-swimmers can have a wonderful time on our snorkeling trips, however, the final judgment call is yours to make. Please note we do not give refunds if you decide not to snorkel on the trip.
Oct 2021The snorkel gear we use on Cool Cancun tours is high quality and for your protection, the equipment is sanitized after each use. However, if you feel more comfortable using your own snorkeling equipment, feel free to bring it on the tour. Please note, there is no discount for providing your own equipment and we can’t be responsible for any lost or damaged items.

Oct 2021There are no legal age limits for snorkeling. We have found that age 5 or 6 is a good age to learn the basics of snorkeling, however, it’s entirely up to individuals to make the best choice for their family.
Sep 2021If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
