Saúl and Raymundo were fabulous and fun. This was a great tour, rustic and not overly crowded or touristy. We explored Ek Balam and climbed the temple steps, visited a beautiful cenote, had a wonderful meal in Valladolid, and ended with a tequila tasting/tour. I have been on several trips to this area and this was definitely one of the funnest days.

Fantastic tour, excellent communication, very safe and comfortable transport and a knowledgeable guide. We appreciated the ability to go at our own pace when exploring the Mayan sites, ask questions to deepen our experience, and tailor the trip to our needs. Uxmal was a real highlight, and we appreciated the guide's local knowledge to recommend restaurants based on our preferences. Heavy rain disrupted our itinerary on the first evening and the schedule was rearranged so we could still see all the highlights in Merida the following day. 100% recommend Trip to Mexico and would use again if we return to explore other parts of Mexico.

It is exactly as advertised: 2-2.5 hr transportation to & from Chichen Itza from our hotel in Cancun and about 2 hours in the attraction. The amount of time spent there is completely up to you.However, Alan, our Tour guide, was so knowledgeable that he gave us great info on the way there as well as during our tour and on the way home. He was AWESOME & definitely made the whole trip for us.

Wanted to take a minute and say what remarkable experience. The seamless quality of the boat made it a joy to navigate the waters, while the scenic views were absolutely breathtaking. Each moment spent amidst the picturesque waters felt like a little slice of paradise. My daughter and I loved every minute of it. We really had a great time, I suggest paying extra for a licensed tour guide about 1600 pesos for the entire tour per group. It was well worth it. There is so much more history and culture that a guide can share. You will enjoy and appreciate everything much more. Amairany Hua was our guide, and she was amazing.

My sister and I had one of the best experiences on this excursion. This is truly a rare and exciting adventure like no other. We went into the mangrove forest in a boat where we saw wildlife in its natural habitat and enjoyed the sounds of the wildlife in nature. We saw several different types of birds and a few crocodiles. After that, we went to Isla Blanca where we rode bikes and got to the beach. Our tour guide Carlos was great! He made us feel very comfortable from the start. He is passionate about birds and it shows. He possesses a great deal of knowledge about the terrain and nature in general. The excursion is great for people with high endurance as well as for those who want to take it slower. Carlos accommodates your needs and endurance levels. Carlos is not only an amazing tour guide but great at taking photos. He took some beautiful photos of the trip and then shared them with us. I highly recommend taking this tour.

Excellent experience. They picked us up from our resort on time. They then took us grocery shopping at a Mexican food market. We then went to a restaurant and had a private cooking class, which included margaritas and also they surprised us with a tequila tasting. The cost was $99 usd per person and was worth every penny.

Our favorite Part was Marcela our guide! She made the trip so fun! She was so knowledgeable and never once rushed us and answered every question that we had! We even got to see a local village and get more culture about Ek Balam! I would recommend this to anyone and make Sure you have Marcela to guide you and Noah to drive you! We also have fun swimming in the Cenote!

We took this as a day trip from Cancun. We visited both the archaeological area At tulum and also at coba. Our driver was super professional and the tour guide had a depth of knowledge about the maya civilization. Both sites are wonderful.I prefer private tours due to Covid and because the schedule only depends on your group.Tulum is super photogenic and has the beautiful backdrop of the sea. Coba is much more rustic and has a wonderful sense of discovery as the ruins emerge from the trees. Our tour included use of bicycles at coba which makes the hike faster and super amusing for teenage kids.We had lunch at Tulum, not included in the tour and took quite a bit of time because of other groups. The area can be quite busy. Might be helpful for the tour company to consider a location away from the entrance to the site for lunch. As you are paying you can ask them for a different location.Tour provided bottled water and bikes at coba, but no extra amenities. Also no side stops for shopping to generate commissions for the tour. Very self directed. If you want something specific, recommend that you speak up.From Cancun, there is a lot of driving. A bit more than 2 hours each way. Much less driving if you are staying farther south. The sites, the guide and the experience are totally with it, but you should be aware of the balance of time driving against time at the sites.

Great private tour.
We had a great day with arlos. He was very informative and knew every bird imaginable as he also leads bird watching trips. He took us to an excellent cenote both closed and open and actually swam with us pointing out interesting things to see. We splurged on a private tour so we could spend the day practicing our spanish. Carlos was so nice to chat with us most of the long ride tolerating our intermediate spanish. We did have 2 issues, both beyond his control. Traffic was bad so it took over 2 hrs each way from Cancun to Cobá and our local guide wasn't good. Coba only allows their certified guides so that was not the fault of Carlos or Contoy excursions, his company. We still found the archeological site interesting and worth the trip. Thanks Carlos! See you next time!

Great guide and driver, the tour of Muyil is interesting and just the right length of time before hopping in boat with a well-seasoned boat captain who navigates the Sian Ka'an area like he's done it a million times. Beautiful water and Flora and fauna. Don't miss this trip. Everyone was great and accommodating.

SO MUCH FUN!
This was such a great tour and the day was filled with so many fun activities! We were able to go to the pink lakes with a private guide and take lots of pictures, followed by a boat ride seeing pelicans, flamingos, and a baby crocodile! The boat took us to the most beautiful and quiet beach in Rio lagertos. We got lunch at a great seafood spot and then finished the day with a cenote.Saul was so kind, energetic, and knowledgeable — he taught us a lot about Mayan culture and history. The best tour guide ever! Lupe was also a fantastic and safe driver that took us to all of our spots for the day. We had such a great time; book this ASAP for your next vacation to Mexico!!!

We were a group of 6 and took the tour to Yax-mul. The driver picked us up at the hotel in Tulum and we had a cooler with beverage in the shuttle. The cenotes were amazing! The tour guide who was with us was kind and we hired the photographer for the pictures. Totally worth it! 😃
