It was a very nice tour. Out guide, Frank, had so much knowledge about the Maya as he even is a Maya himself. He explained everything about rituals, sacrifices, games and the gods. At every place there was enough greeting planned after a quick tour by Frank. I can definitely recommend him and the driver José, as the ride was very smooth. The only thing I have to admit is, that in the end it was almost 200€ per person for us, which was definitely too expensive in our opinion. Nevertheless was the tour and each spot wonderful to look at!

This trip really was wonderful! Getting to see the culture of Mexico, the Mayan way of living and the UNESCO Chichen Itza was really a great opportunity. Cannot forget the tequila tasting session! Myself and my partner had a brilliant day out, being able to live new experiences that we would not get elsewhere!All of this could not have been possible without our driver and guides along the way. Kevin and Juam took us through the culture and heritage throughout the day - helping us to understand the importance of these artefacts and being so welcoming and interactive along the way. This tour was booked for a group of 10 family members. The driver and guide arrived at our hotel promptly at the stated pickup time. It's a reasonable value compared to other private tours offering similar service.The drive to Chichen Itza was down a long, flat straight and comfortable road. The driver Moises maneuvered the large van down the road quickly and safely. The tour guide, Manny was a wealth of knowledge both on the way there, as well as when we got to the pyramid. We made a bathroom/shopping break about 30 mins out. We could have done without this, but it seems all part of the deal.Chichen Itza felt much more touristy than Teotihuacan near Mexico City but that doesn't reflect poorly on this travel company. Manny offered great insight to the history of the area, as well as Mayan culture in general.The 40 minute drive from the pyramid to Cenote Hubiku flew by in the comfortable air conditioned van. The grounds again are very touristy but the beauty of the cenote cannot be denied. This was a truly spectacular version of a cenote that should not be missed. Lunch at the onsite buffet was included but not really necessary to me. Everyone did agree the food was good, even if the plant based options were fruit and salad.Manny y Moises make a great team. If we're ever able to make it back to the area, we would love to hop on the full day tour to Tulum, before being dropped off at the airport as recommended by the team. Glad we found this tour group out of all the many companies on the peninsula.

We had a great day exploring Mexico with our tour guide Saul with Tulaka Mexican Travel. We booked a private tour with Saul and he took our family zip lining, to a cenote and snorkeling in ocean. After that he took us to a local restaurant to try authentic Mexican food. For any families traveling to Mexico, we highly recommend booking a private tour that allows you to experience the day on your own schedule. We arrived to the zip lining and cenote early in the morning before all of the crowds arrived and had the whole place to ourselves. During the snorkeling, our daughter didn’t want to get in the water so Saul stayed back to watch her while my husband and I got our own private snorkeling tour. We then were able to choose from multiple options for lunch and Saul translated and explained the menu options for us. Along with that, Saul took pictures and videos throughout the whole day so we were able to enjoy the day while he captured the moments. You can also tell that Saul has kids because he was very patient and engaging with our daughter. She loved hanging out with him and we all had a memorable day. We highly recommend booking a private tour with Soul to get an immersive experience of Mexico!
