Exceeded our Expectations! Ivan was magnificent! He gave us the interesting history and biked with us all over Coba. (Even joined us at the top of the temple) Then we swam in a cenote where he was prepared and gave us goggles and flashlight to make sure we could see all the amazing surprises. Following the cenote we enjoyed tacos at a favorite stop of his. We finished off with a turtle snorkel. Ivan was professional, friendly, interesting and spoke great English! Thank you Tours with Mike we will definitely book you for our next adventure. We appreciated the private tour and the option to customize what we wanted to see.

Our tour guide Manny is very knowledgeable and was a fantastic guide! We so enjoyed visiting the Mayan ruins of Ek Balam with him, as well as going in the Oxman Cénote and having lunch in Valladolid, as well as his driving us by a beautiful convent in Valladolid. He attended to our needs and he also took many wonderful photos of us…five stars for his guiding and for the experience!

Alex & Leo were amazing! Most of my group it was their first time and they made the experience unforgettable. We got to catch the fish, watch them cut it up and a local restaurant cooked it for us after. I would definitely recommend it. I advise to wear hats and sun protection because the sun was beaming!!

We had a great day exploring Mexico with our tour guide Saul with Tulaka Mexican Travel. We booked a private tour with Saul and he took our family zip lining, to a cenote and snorkeling in ocean. After that he took us to a local restaurant to try authentic Mexican food. For any families traveling to Mexico, we highly recommend booking a private tour that allows you to experience the day on your own schedule. We arrived to the zip lining and cenote early in the morning before all of the crowds arrived and had the whole place to ourselves. During the snorkeling, our daughter didn’t want to get in the water so Saul stayed back to watch her while my husband and I got our own private snorkeling tour. We then were able to choose from multiple options for lunch and Saul translated and explained the menu options for us. Along with that, Saul took pictures and videos throughout the whole day so we were able to enjoy the day while he captured the moments. You can also tell that Saul has kids because he was very patient and engaging with our daughter. She loved hanging out with him and we all had a memorable day. We highly recommend booking a private tour with Soul to get an immersive experience of Mexico!

This was one of three excursions we did with Tours with Mike. The collection was great, the guiding amazing, lunch, the cenote - all amazing. Have to admit being a little disappointed with Ek Balam itself but this has nothing to do with Mike and his team, all of whom were superb.

He was dependably early and made us feel less like "customers" and more like we were being looked after by a friend.The shuttle was impeccably clean and perfectly fresh, without any harsh, headache-inducing air fresheners. Overall it was an excellent tour. Every detail was thought of. Before the tour even started, we had great communication from the tour. Arranging pick up was a breeze. The tour was very well planned and paced. Alex is knowledgeable, attentive, and full of fun history facts. His years of experience were clearly evident in how well thought out the tour was. Ek balam is similar to Chichen Itza, but at this site, you can climb the pyramid! It was at the top of my must see attractions when I learned that climbing the pyramid was an option. The Cenote was beautiful. The cool water was especially refreshing after the morning walk through the ruins. The restaurant was an excellent choice. The food was great, and the service was quick. I highly recommend this tour, Alex is definitely the best guide you will find.
