Our driver Enrique was excellent. Good communication. He contacted us the day before via WhatsApp and the day of, and then picked us up promptly at the scheduled time and location. The car was very comfortable. There was only two of us, this is a better option, in terms of comfort than the big van if there's just two people. Good driver, really nice, safe driver. Got to Cancun airport smoothly with no issues. Would definitely book again and would definitely recommend.

Swim with whale sharks - amazing!
We did this tour, arranged by our hotel concierge. It was at the end of the season, so there weren’t as many whale sharks around, but it was fantastic! We saw whale sharks and a giant manta ray! The only downside, was that this late in the season when there are very few whale sharks, it felt like the whale sharks were intimidated by the number of boats and people trying to see them and swim with them.We think we’ll try doing this again earlier in the season when there are still many whale sharks around. Our guide, Maia, was amazing – very pleasant, spoke to everyone (she speaks four different languages) and was very upbeat. Great tour!

I booked a private tour of Tulum and Coba ruins with Cool Cancun for July 28, 2026 for my boyfriend and myself. Alejandro and Jose were excited to pick us up promptly and were extremely accommodating. Jose did an excellent job o navigating while Alejandro briefes us about the trip. During the drive, Alejandro gave us an informative masterclass of the Mayan culture's ways of life along with visual aids to make the information come alive. He has an indepth understanding of the advanced recording, timekeeping and mathematical systems of the Mayan people. Alejandro showed us housing structures, temples and paintings. We were in awe of his wealth of experience and knowledge. He dialoged with us to answer all of our questions into the past and how it connects with the present. Through his eyes, we learned so much and it was apparent rhat his passion for teaching has lifted his learners to higher levels of understanding. He offered us to climb Nohoch Mul, one of the only preserved ruins that Cool Cancuns can access. We did so enthusiastically and he offered to record our photos for posterity. Alejandro was informative about the history of each ruin, specifically pointing out the development of the ball courts in Coba. We learned more in one session with Alejandro than I had learned in my previous trips to archeological sites combined. He was extremely fluent in English which we appreciated very much. We stopped for a buffet lunch at a wonderful restaurant in Coba. The cuisine and service were both excellent. I cannot thank Alejandro enough for the excellent tour and Jose for driving. We were doing the boat trip activity to Isla Contoy and Isla Mujeres; thanks to the good weather, we were able to snorkel on the reef. I recommend it one hundred percent. The guides, both Lorenzo and Saul, were fantastic and very involved in explaining everything you ask them.

This experience gives you knowledge and brings you back in time, in order to understand and to walk into the Mayan world!!! Gabriel gives out with passion, all the info about the Mayan culture and civilization. But please be careful on the Cénote!!!! I didn’t rent the locker and was a mistake. My things got misplaced from somebody. I thought that they were stolen and I asked for security. His name was Oscar. Me and two of his co workers we were calling his name and refused to come. After I called louder he came down there and he didn’t help me at all!!!!! I found my backpack to another place of where o left it but I was relieved that I did. But Oscar the security guy , not only he didn’t help but I found out later that he accused me to my travel guy that I was mental ill or I was taking grubs!!!! So please do not take your valuables down there!!! It’s dark and crowded and you won’t get any help from Oscar’s!! Other than this the tour will exceed your expectations

Amazing experience. The purification ceremony was unlike any other experience I have had before. The swim in the cenote following the ceremony was nice and gave us time to bond with others in the tour group. Dinner was delicious and I felt welcomed in the village.

Great tour of 2 sites: Coba was much more active (choice to bike through the site and climb) and Tulum was beautiful. Super convenient and comfortable to be picked up from our hotel and the van was well stocked with snacks. Guide and driver were both very friendly, knowledgeable and patient with the pace of my family that spanned the ages of 10-75.

Our driver Carlos and tour guide Alberto were both awesome! So knowledgeable and friendly and Tulum was beautiful! Danny, our cenote tour guide also provided an amazing experience, we learned so much during both tours and the service was top notch! I cannot recommend this enough! Our tour included ATV, Snorkeling, Ziplining, and Mayan underwater Caves. Our tour guide was Isabela and she was fantastic! She was very bubbly and inviting. She explained things thoroughly and was very entertaining and helpful. She kept up with our group and made sure everyone was on the same page. She was very informative and truly an expert at her job. I would recommend Adventuras Mayas to anyone!! I had a great time!! I can’t forget about our driver Benny who got us there in piece, as fast and as safe as possible.
