We so enjoyed visiting the Mayan ruins of Ek Balam with him, as well as going in the Oxman Cénote and having lunch in Valladolid, as well as his driving us by a beautiful convent in Valladolid. Outstanding Guide for an Unforgettable Yucatán Day Trip
We spent an entire day with Alexandr Susha covering Ek Balam, Valladolid, Cenote Ik Kil, and Chichén Itzá — an ambitious itinerary for one day, and he pulled it off flawlessly. From the very first pickup, Alexandr was punctual, organized, and clearly had the logistics of the day mapped out so we never felt rushed or wasted time waiting around.At Ek Balam, he gave us rich historical context on the Mayan site without overwhelming us with dates and names — he had a real gift for making the history feel alive and relevant. Our stroll through Valladolid felt like a local's tour rather than a tourist stop, with great recommendations for food and photo spots. The swim at Cenote Ik Kil was perfectly timed to help us cool off and recharge before the final stretch, and Alexandr made sure we had enough time there to actually enjoy it rather than just check a box.By the time we reached Chichén Itzá, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, his energy hadn't dipped at all — if anything, this is where his knowledge and passion really shone. He answered every question thoughtfully, shared great stories about Mayan culture and astronomy, and helped us get some fantastic photos. Highly recommend Alexandr for anyone wanting to see the highlights of the region without sacrificing depth or comfort. Five stars, no hesitation.

Alex & Leo were amazing! Most of my group it was their first time and they made the experience unforgettable. We got to catch the fish, watch them cut it up and a local restaurant cooked it for us after. I would definitely recommend it. I advise to wear hats and sun protection because the sun was beaming!!

Best Boat EVER
We had no idea the amount of fun we were in for. We booked the 4 hour catamaran experience with an open bar. The boat staff were UNPARALLELED; they were so much fun, so kind, and very thorough. We went for a bachelorette party and boy did they deliver. They saw our energy and matched it. A quote from one of our girls was “It’s nice to know I’ve arrived at the peak of my life.” We had a photographer on board as well and she posed us to make us look like sirens of the sea. Carlito was our primary host and he was the best guide we could have asked for. He was knowledgeable, made sure the prioritize safety, and also brought the party. We were able to snorkel through one of the most amazing coral reefs I’ve ever seen, in crystal clear water, and then enjoy some time just floating out in the ocean. Truly a 10/10 experience, I couldn’t have asked for more. Our bride was in tears of happiness at the end of our time.

We had a great day exploring Mexico with our tour guide Saul with Tulaka Mexican Travel. We booked a private tour with Saul and he took our family zip lining, to a cenote and snorkeling in ocean. After that he took us to a local restaurant to try authentic Mexican food. For any families traveling to Mexico, we highly recommend booking a private tour that allows you to experience the day on your own schedule. We arrived to the zip lining and cenote early in the morning before all of the crowds arrived and had the whole place to ourselves. During the snorkeling, our daughter didn’t want to get in the water so Saul stayed back to watch her while my husband and I got our own private snorkeling tour. We then were able to choose from multiple options for lunch and Saul translated and explained the menu options for us. Along with that, Saul took pictures and videos throughout the whole day so we were able to enjoy the day while he captured the moments. You can also tell that Saul has kids because he was very patient and engaging with our daughter. She loved hanging out with him and we all had a memorable day. We highly recommend booking a private tour with Soul to get an immersive experience of Mexico!

This was one of three excursions we did with Tours with Mike. The collection was great, the guiding amazing, lunch, the cenote - all amazing. Have to admit being a little disappointed with Ek Balam itself but this has nothing to do with Mike and his team, all of whom were superb.

The concept proposed by Thomas and his team is brilliant. With a guide/driver/companion, you discover the real Mexico, safely, and away from mass tourism. Absolutely outstanding cultural and historical tour. Our guide was Norma and driver Gerardo. Informative, warm, attentive, kind. Ek Balam is special, so much more to see than Chichen Itza honestly, far less crowded and you can climb to ruins. We got to see original architecture they had just uncovered. Also shaded in part. Then Cenote Saamal and Selva Maya. Stunning cenote, tropical paradise, great changing rooms and lockers. Lunch was 10 out of 10 with many choices of pork, chicken, vegetables all authentic Mexican dishes. Then finally Valladolid, charming historical town with lovely church and great coffee shop. Would do this tour again, suitable for all ages, our tour was private and we'll worth the fees.

The van we went in was clean, in the transfer we were very comfortable and the operator Mario is a person who was always attentive for us to be well on the trip, we visited places that were very worthwhile.
