Mexico is a beautiful country and the weather is incredible. Our tour guide Nico was very patient and communicated everything precisely and clearly. In both Spanish and English. Seeing the Whale Sharks up close and personal has been on my wife bucket list for years. So we finally got to cross that off. Over all an amazing experience. The videos of us swimming with them are excellent. Would definitely recommend Nico and the ExperienceLee & Lindsey

I cannot say enough good things about this tour company. We were in the Cancun area for 4 days and booked 3 tours through Ocean Tours. We had three different tour guides and all of them were wonderful. The first day was the Whale shark tour with Jesse. She was funny, attentive, and made an effort to get to know everyone on the tour. The group size was perfect, I believe there were 10 of us that day. Seeing the whale sharks in their natural environment was an unforgettable experience. Jesse was very knowledgeable about them and shared tips for safely snorkeling with them. The ceviche we had for lunch was the best ceviche we had on our entire trip. I highly recommend Ocean Tours to anyone thinking about booking a tour while visiting the area. They exceeded my expectations and made our vacation the most memorable and enjoyable experience ever.

Paloma was an excellent guide, knowledgeable and fun. She gave us the perfect blend of history and adventure. We loved visiting Tulum with her and discovering Maya culture and history. Definite highlight of the day was visiting the Santa Cruz cave and cenote—it is a magical place. Highly recommend this experience!! Armando was our driver, he was also excellent.

Great excursion for nature lovers: in all terrain safari mode (Thanks to Tony our driver), looking to see many animals respecting their living places. Paty our guide is very rich to know, pedagogue in his transmission of knowledge, the information is structured and easy to understand. Thanks to our captains because we spent a lot of time at sea, and thanks to them we saw dolphins 🐬 and especially a beautiful turtle 🐢. Meal with fresh fish cooked very well in XO-KEN. We recommend these tours with secretoo as they are unique and valuable. Privileged tourism and not mass as we like.The bride and groom!

This tour was amazing!! Lea was an incredible tour guide. We enjoyed the ruins, lunch at Manuel’s, but the best was jumping in the cenote!

We took the private Mayan Underworld tour with our college-aged daughter and her friend during our first trip to Mexico. While most of our time was spent relaxing at our resort in Riviera Maya—by the pools and beach with books and cocktails—we wanted one excursion that would give us a meaningful introduction to the region.We specifically chose a private tour to avoid crowds and the feeling of being rushed, and this experience delivered exactly what we were hoping for. While I don’t have a comparison point, I would highly recommend this tour—especially for first-time visitors. Niko was our driver and guide, and he was outstanding. Every aspect of the day—from booking to pickup, guiding at each stop, lunch, and drop-off—was seamless and thoughtfully handled.The day began with an on-time, accommodating pickup at our resort, followed by a smooth drive through morning traffic to Tulum in a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained vehicle. We stopped for coffee upon arrival and then headed into the archaeological park (with parking and admission included). Niko guided us through the major sites with clear, engaging, and well-informed commentary. Next, we went snorkeling in Akumal. Rather than the most crowded areas, Niko took us to a quieter, protected inlet with rocks and coves and a nice diversity of fish. Unfortunately, the weather cut this portion short due to thunder and lightning, but we appreciated the location—it felt safe, manageable, and not overly crowded. Snorkeling equipment and flotation vests were provided.Our final stop was a semi-private cenote about 20 minutes inland. For roughly 90 minutes, we had the cave entirely to ourselves. This was a highlight of the day. Niko guided us through with great care, explaining both the geology and the significance of cenotes in Mayan culture, and even pointing out bat habitats along the way. We walked about half a mile through waist-deep water before reaching an open cenote approximately nine feet deep, where we swam and enjoyed a rope swing. We exited via a short, scenic walk. The day ended with an excellent lunch at a small restaurant in Akumal (included in the tour), followed by a comfortable return to our resort.Overall, this was a beautifully paced, well-organized, and memorable experience. We felt taken care of at every step and came away with a much deeper appreciation for the region. Highly recommended.This time of year, we did not suffer from the mosquitos (though we were prepared!!). Advice-bring cash. Paying the balance of the tour, providing a tip for the driver, and having beer and margaritas at lunch require cash. We had both pesos and US dollars. Also, we wore our bathing suits under our clothes, and brought towels, which made it easier to transition from the ruins to the snorkeling. We did change at the restaurant, though it is very much a beach town restaurant and we would have been fine staying in our suits with a coverup had we wanted.

We took a tour called “The Ancient Canals” booked directly with Sian Ka’An (as we didn’t require a pick-up) but it was much like this one. And it was incredible! Well worth the money. Floating down the canals was a fabulous experience. The warm was so warm. Our guide, Jennie, was very known and helpful. Ask for her if you take this tour. And our boat captain, Felix, was an awesome captain. And he knew some places where we might see a crocodile and he was RIGHT! And the lunch provided was simply delicious!

Pablo is a truly phenomenal host! His enthusiasm for the local culture and nature was contagious and he had the best attitude and laugh. We had the most amazing adventure exploring the jungle while also learning about the native animals and plants and the history of the land and the people. Highly recommend. We had a once-in-a-lifetime day! Thank you for your hospitality!!

This was an amazing day. Pablo was a brilliant tour guide and the drivers were excellent too - it was very fun and informative too - the food was amazing and all the little extras from Mayan culture made it special - muchos gracias 🙏

A wonderful trip to see the wildlife here, bird island and the excitement when we saw dolphins and a turtle. Snorkelling for those who wanted to, nice lunch included.Tip - only eco friendly sun cream allowed so you may want to wear long sleeves to protect yourself from the sun

Excellent tour to do various activities in Isla Mujeres. I took the Royal Garrafón tour with Royal Connection swimming.. first we arrived at Garrafón Park, had some snacks for breakfast and made the zip lines, which is advisable to do when it is still dry. Later we snorkeled for a while and then entered the temazcal, which in my opinion was the highlight of the park, because although I had visited it before, this time it was my first time in the temazcal. After a shower, I ate at the restaurant El Bucanero and had dessert at the VIP restaurant. We went to the dolphin and the experience with the dolphins you really learn about their physiology with the instructor and you connect with them during the interactions... what I liked the most was being able to dive in and see them up close underwater and listen to them... highly recommended-.-

Phenomenal experience. Everything was easy, and it was a dream come true to see whale sharks let alone swim next to them. Our guide was amazing and I would recommend to anyone, as long as they are strong swimmers and are comfortable snorkeling.

What a beautiful full day of discovery! Cesar our guide is knowledgeable and he speaks good English. He explained everything in do many details! He is passionate about what he does and he made our day exceptionally good! Small group: just 8 of us and the whole experience was beautiful, including swimming in a very good cenote! Axel, the driver is a star too! Driving safely and keeping our belongings on the van safe. Thanks guys!!!!!! 💖🌟

Excellent day with our guide Alonso . Mixture of cultural nature and sport. Alonso had to juggle French and English because our group was mixed but never made shortcuts. He answered all our questions. He commented on the visits of the day but he also gave information about Mexico in general. Attention to all. Perfect. Very good day and finally a nice cenote where we were few. Thank you.
