We were unable to snorkel because the winds were so severe however (and they definitely let us know the day before, and gave us the option to reschedule to another day), we had an incredible time exploring the Jaguar park with Effrain as our guide. We got to see a museum with amazing archeological finds, tons of birds, ruins, the jungle, the beach, it was a glorious experience. We hiked about 5 miles, and enjoyed every minute of it. Lunch was great at the beachside. Our guide was so knowledgeable, and absolutely totally fluent in English, and patient with us. I learned so much about the area, and the Mayan history. Highly recommend!

Was very sceptical to go on this trip as I love the sea and wildlife but my 10 year old doesn’t (our family is just us two). However the captain and tour guide made my son Alex feel so comfortable and welcome. They couldn’t have done enough for him from start to finish and I really really appreciate it.
