Great experience - beware of time commitment
The experiences were amazing. The trip was 15.5 hours instead of 10-12 so that needs to be updated so you don’t make plans for that evening.The show we stopped at before getting to Chichen Itza tried to sell us an item for 12,000 pesos once they told us it was going to be 1,000 pesos.Pay by cash so you don’t spend more than you want to spend.

Tulum and Akumal tours were great; Tanya was our Mayan tour guide and she did a great job explaining the Mayan culture in the Tulum ruins. Akumal snorkeling was phenomenal - all the turtles were super cute!However, the booking we received did not include the 3 Zapotes cenote even though it was advertised on the itinerary. We were excited for the cenote, so we were disappointed when they told us that it was not part of the excursion anymore.

Amazing trip - poor vehicle exchange
This trip was amazing. They did a great job of explaining the history of the area and Josue and Roberto were great tour guides. Chichén Itzá is an amazing experience and the cenote is gorgeous. The only issue we had was in the morning. We took a van to a store where they separated us on to buses. The group almost put me and my wife on the wrong bus. The only reason we figured it out is because another group was assigned the same seat on the other bus. They initially dismissed our concerns before figuring out the issue. I would recommend the trip, just be prepared to lose half an hour to a poorly planned vehicle exchange system and if something doesn’t seem right, don’t let them dismiss your concerns.

The tour itself was good. I could have done without the Mayan ceremony when we stopped to pay the 10.00 in taxes per person. It was more of a cash grab then teaching Mayan history, they made sure to point out the tip jar. Also the vehicle we rode in was older and beat up . The driver had trouble opening the sliding door every time we stopped .

It is a long trip from Playa del Carmen (around 4 hours each way from Playa and even longer if you go from Cancun). We left at 6:30am and got back around 8pm. It was well organised and communication was good. We didn’t get breakfast until around 10:30am when we arrived at the cenote so bring a snack if you want something to eat a bit earlier. Lunch was around 4:30pm. We had good weather and sunshine so we could appreciate the colours of the lagoon. It was a nice outing and a lovely location to explore.

First the Good. Awesome transportation. Friendly staff and delivered as advertised. The Bad. Just know this is a 4+ hour trip from the Playa de Carmen area. Was it worth it is a personal preference. I can't say the 8 hours of driving was worth seeing the Cenote and definitely not the beach club which is a small beachfront local restaurant & bar. The Cenote and lagoons are beautiful for sure, so if you have seen other points in Cancun and want something different, this might be for you.

This was our second tour in Mexico, so we were more prepared...We had a problem with our drinks on board the bus, because we were told that they were not included in the price, even though I had consulted it the day before and they had said yes, besides, that the ticket said it!. Finally, after showing them the ticket they gave us the drinks without charge. At the end of the day there was no water, if that was where the drinks included. On the other hand, although it indicates pickup at the hotel you are never picked up there, nor left at that point, when the hotel is in the center of Playa del Carmen. Watch this if you consider it.

Well organised experience. Activity was organised in the beautiful Maroma beach. Instructors gave safety brief and after we went on the wave runners. We were group of six people, had two instructors. Because I did drive a first time jet ski, struggled from the beginning, but later I managed to follow my group. One bad thing, photos and videos cost a fortune $100

Very good just not the same order as the itinerary
The tour guides and the entire experience was amazing and no knock on the guides, drivers, etc. They were great and very professional. I know they are not part of Cool Cancun which is a third party. However, I booked this specific tour versus the other options bc of the itinerary. I wanted to go to chichen first like stated in the itinerary, then cenotes so I wouldn’t be wet first then change into dry clothes and get wet again by the time we went to the 2nd cenote I was completely dry and had to put my wet clothes back on. Also pickup was not at 6 like stated when booking but 7ish (I was notified in advance by the tour guide). Also the visit to Valladolid was only 30 and not enough time for anything after going to the bathroom and waiting in the long line there was no time for anything left. To my understanding when booking, i thought we had an hour.The pros: chichen itza, 2 cenotes were great, we got a sack bfast/snack, cold water when starting chichen, and cold water when boarding, great buffet lunch, bilingual tour guides which were very knowledgeable. Take cash for tips and souvenirs.

Very well organized trip, we were picked up at our hotel and returned there at the end. Sites are amazing, both cenote and Chichen itza is a must to see if you are in Mexico. Tour guides were very entertaining and gave us a lot of information as well. The only thing we didn’t like that much was the first stop where we had lunch and were encouraged to spend money in the shop… this stop could have be much shorter and the last stop in Valladolid should have been at least 1hr (instead of 30min) Here we were rushed to grab some food and take it to the bus. We didn’t have any chance to see the city as we were waiting for food and then our time was up… it was a petty cuz the city is lovely. If you visit Mexico be prepared to tip everyone for everything. I found it a bit uncomfortable that the tour guide was explaining how bad the mexican wages are and how much they are relying on guests to tip them… for us, coming from Europe this is a bit awkward, especially that you had to pay for extra things like a locker and lifewest at the cenote and you pay taxes and the cost of the trip and still at the end they make you feel like you spent the whole day for free and you have to pay them extra cuz they did a great job. And I’m not saying they didn’t do a great job! Just this presentation is unusual for us. but all in all it was a great day, totally recommending it!
