Tulum and Cenote tour

It was a great experience! Though it was a long drive to get there from hotel in Cancun, our driver Joe made it seem enjoyable! He stopped to pick up others and our tour guide Juan along the way. We first stopped to swim with the turtles at a beach. Some participated in that and others shopped or had a snack and drink at a beachfront restaurant. Then we went to visit the Tulum ruins! Very interesting and beautiful sights. Plenty of shopping souvenirs shops! Then it was lunch at a local Mexican restaurant. Best tacos I’ve ever had! Finally, we went to the Cenotes to swim in the caverns! Great experience! Juan and Joe were very informative and professional and made everyone feel safe in the water! Great experience, would recommend it to everybody!

Great day out at Coba

Coba wasn’t too busy compared with other architectural places of interest that we have been to. We wanted to do this one so we could climb the steps to the top of a pyramid to see the views. There were lots of steep steps as expected but it was fun, there are rope handrails and everyone managed it. There is a great view above the canopy of trees at the top. The bicycle ride speeding back was fun. Many people didn’t wear trainers though we were; do make sure you wear shoes you can walk in. Our guide, Ana, was highly knowledgeable on the Mayan history and cenotes and had lots of pictures and diagrams to explain further. We had a fun dip in the cenote (saw bats, baby swallows and kingfishers, fish and turtles) before being fed a traditionally cooked meal. A good day out and we didn’t need to spend hours sitting on a coach!. Ana (guide)and Nancy (the driver) made a good team.

Highly recommend

Great food and guide! We would not have experienced authentic tacos if not for this tour. The kids enjoyed this so much, they thought it was one of the two best things they did in Mexico. It was initially stressful to find the guide because the Uber driver dropped us off in a different spot. I'm glad the operator was available in the chat and Alex, our guide met us where we were.

We knew we booked a catamaran tour but we didn’t expect the above and beyond service and entertaining crew! The drinks tasted delicious, the crew was incredibly professional and courteous. Carlito and Captain brought all the fun vibes we needed for my friend’s bachelorette party! And Patti took incredible photos where we didn’t have to worry about taking on our phones. 100% would recommend using their tour services!!

Unbeatable service

We have spent a week in the Riviera Maya and it has been an incredible trip. Even more so thanks to the people at Exotic Mayan Tours. We have taken several excursions with them and the experience has been unbeatable, from the moment we booked with them from Spain to the execution of the excursions, organized to experience things to the fullest, avoiding crowds, etc. Always accompanying us with a smile, attentive to every detail. One hundred percent recommended. We went on three excursions, Chichén Itzá with the Oxman and Suytun cenotes, Tulum and Cobá with swimming with turtles, and Isla Mujeres with Isla Contoy, and in all of them we had an unbeatable experience. Many thanks to our now friends at Exotic. We will be back!

Kayaking Tour in Cancun

Peaceful kayaking through...

Peaceful kayaking through lagoon and mangroves. Jessica was an excellent guide to the wildife and plants of the area. Some of the kayaks were sit-on-tops, some were less comfortable Yakboards, all were fine since this was all easy paddling. PFDs and waivers were standard. Guide was prepared to instruct paddling technique, but we were fairly experienced, so she limited her tips to some pointers as needed for our youngest teen. We applied insect repellent as a precaution but didn't notice many mosquitoes. We booked an evening kayak, and the Cool Cancun listed time didn't line up with the summer sunset. Jessica did notify us of the time change, but we couldn't easily change our transportation arrangements. We spent the extra hour at the nearby Parroquia de Cristo Resucitado, which also offered pleasant shaded gardens and a Catholic bookstore with beautiful, affordable, Mexican-made crucifixes.

Rubi from Playa Del Carmen helped us through everything. Great experience. Even better in October to March. Cliff jumping, snorkeling in a cenote, and a cavern, and a lagoon. Perfect for kids.

Diving

The absolute best instructor I met (Lars) was an amazing experience, have previously dived in Turkey, Dubai but never experienced such experience, this made the diving extremely safe and relaxed! I really had to ask all the questions I could think of and learn on a completely different level, after today I feel that I got more security in the water when it comes to diving! Lars is very keen that everything takes the time it requires and that there must be no stress, he makes sure that there is plenty of time for all elements.
