An enjoyable and informative day out

Pre-trip information was very good with a clear list of what to take for the day trip with pickup was on time.The tour guide, Jesus Cuevas, was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information both on the journey to Chichén Itza and as we walked around the site.We had a stop off for lunch of Mayan food and experienced some of the Mayan culture and beliefs.We then finished up the day with a dip in the Cenote which was well organised with ample safety provisions.The day has been the highlight of my holiday so far.

Private tour worthwhile for your own family’s touring pace

Our tour guide Alberto was very knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all of our questions about the pre-Hispanic people in Mexico, and shared the mythology and math and astronomy findings of the Mayans that were super interesting to our school aged kids! The tour of Chichen Itza itself was well paced - not too fast or not too slow, time for photos and questions and just to soak in the environment, time for purchasing souvenirs. Driver was professional too - driving felt safe, car clean and spacious, air conditioning and chilled drinks were fantastic! Itinerary was nice - cenote visit was well organized and not over crowded. Brief stop for walking a few blocks around in Valladolid was nice too.

Best Day Trip Ever

The day trip to Chichen Itza and the Selvamaya Cenote was the highlight of our trip to Mexico. The hotel pickup was convenient and the bus was very comfortable. The guides were a lot fun and knowledgeable. The food at the buffet was delicious and I was able to buy some nice stuff at the store. The bathrooms were clean as well as the changing place before the cenote.Chich Itza was amazing and our guide was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and quite humorous. The people selling items throughout Chichen Itza weren't that aggressive and most understood some English (I only know a few words in Spanish). I was able to get some nice items while shopping.The cenote was beautiful and I wish we had another hour to spend at the site.If you book this day trip please were comfortable walking shoes because it is a very long day.If we go back to Cancun I would definitely use Go Visit again.
