The Chichen Itza Tour and Tulum tours are a must if you are visiting the Cancun area. Their refund policy was great and we were able to get a refund for 2 individuals who were unable to make the group trip last-minute. Easy to recommend

This tour made sense from start to finish. We didn't have to organize separate tickets, food or transportation and that let us enjoy Chichen Itza instead of managing details. Yunchen was refreshing, our guide was the soul of the trip (shout out to Angel) and the whole day felt well put together. We don't usually take full itineraries, but this one felt like the smart way to see the main places.

Anna Helped us before the tour, Angel guided us through Chichen Itza and Ernesto made the ride feel safe and steady. That mix of online help and in-person care stood out. Cenote was the perfect moment to chill after the ruins. We liked that taxes were included. My favorite part was that each person seemed to have a different highlight, which says a lot about the tour. If felt like staff knew what travelers worry about and quietly solve it before it became an issue. Very recommended!

Unbeatable service

We have spent a week in the Riviera Maya and it has been an incredible trip. Even more so thanks to the people at Exotic Mayan Tours. We have taken several excursions with them and the experience has been unbeatable, from the moment we booked with them from Spain to the execution of the excursions, organized to experience things to the fullest, avoiding crowds, etc. Always accompanying us with a smile, attentive to every detail. One hundred percent recommended. We went on three excursions, Chichén Itzá with the Oxman and Suytun cenotes, Tulum and Cobá with swimming with turtles, and Isla Mujeres with Isla Contoy, and in all of them we had an unbeatable experience. Amazing Family Experience with Tulaka Mexico & Saul!

Booking a private tour with Tulaka Mexico Travel and our guide Saul was hands down the best decision we made on our trip to Cancun. From the very beginning, Saul made everything easy—he was responsive, professional, and truly understood what I was looking for when planning a family-friendly adventure. We chose the Private Transportation with Expert Guide Full Day Tour, and it exceeded all of our expectations. Saul picked us up right at our resort in a spacious, comfortable van that fit my husband, myself, and our three kids perfectly. On the drive to Chichén Itzá, he shared fascinating history about the Maya people and culture, making the ride both educational and engaging for all of us. At Chichén Itzá, Saul acted as our personal guide, pointing out hidden details and ensuring we didn’t miss anything important. His knowledge and passion really brought the site to life for us and kept even our youngest interested. He then took us to a fantastic local restaurant for lunch, followed by a stop at Cenote K’om H’a. This was such a highlight—beautiful, safe, and perfectly suited even for my son who was in a cast. We ended the day in Valladolid, where Saul introduced us to the best coconut ice cream we’ve ever had before returning us to our resort. To top it all off, when we realized we had left our souvenirs in the van, Saul kindly went out of his way to bring them back to us that same night. That level of care and thoughtfulness speaks volumes about the kind of guide he is. This tour was everything I hoped for and more. My kids (ages 5, 7, and 9) were engaged the entire day and are still talking nonstop about what they learned. If you’re traveling with kids—or even without!—I can’t recommend Saul and Tulaka Mexico highly enough. Truly unforgettable.

Mayan experience without the crowds and hassle

Picked up from hotel in aircon coach, collected all other guests and made our way towards Coba. Guide Santiago spoke to us about the day’s layout whilst providing coffee and cookies, he gave information about Coba, the Mayan history and lots of information, very knowledgeable. Arrived at Coba not as busy or hectic as Chechin Itza got tickets and straight in, you have the option to walk or take a tuck tuck, take the tuck tuck this site is far larger than Itza, and for 180 pesos you get took round the site without walking and it’s a great way to see it, and it’s very warm and humid so helped make the tour so much better, the main pyramid looks bigger than Itza and because it’s in the jungle and not as well known you can get into the shade, to keep cooler and not a lot of crowds and there are no vendors inside at all. Taken round site by Santiargo explained everything and was an excellent tour , there are toilets and a couple of vendors outside but no hassle We returned to the coach and went to the Cenotes, the first was a ceremonial one no swimming took place in the ceremony more information about how they were formed went to the second Cenote, toilets, changing rooms , 61 steps down to the water a spiral staircase ropes in both sides to assist you there are even kayaks in this one After swim went for food a delicious buffet, really well cooked pork and chicken and very tasty , after hibiscus drinks and dessert went to Mayan family home , showed round home, got to prepare Tacos and tasted them while still warm, choice of spicy sauces or honey, both very tasty, tip for this part is take some apples for the owner as she really likes them and they are not a natural fruit for the area, got back on coach and dropped off at hotel another very interesting and enjoyable experience
