The Ancient Canals

We took a tour called “The Ancient Canals” booked directly with Sian Ka’An (as we didn’t require a pick-up) but it was much like this one. And it was incredible! Well worth the money. Floating down the canals was a fabulous experience. The warm was so warm. Our guide, Jennie, was very known and helpful. Ask for her if you take this tour. And our boat captain, Felix, was an awesome captain. And he knew some places where we might see a crocodile and he was RIGHT! And the lunch provided was simply delicious!

Cruising the High Seas

For a wonderful experience aboard a Cruise ship, The Princess Discovery With Captain Tony is wonderful. We took the trip from San Pedro, California to Hawaii and back to Encinada, Mexico. A 15 day cruise. The outside staterooms and balconies will give you great views and relaxing afternoons. As for the activities on board, they offer many things to keep you busy all day and evening. Live entertainment, games, spas, massages, pools and jacuzzies. There is many areas of food and drink stations. The entire crew are topnotch and friendly. As for the dining experience, you can't beat the buffet and main dining room. They have early seating and late seating. I suggest the early, so you can make it to the live shows. The entertainment was very good as well. Our Waiter in the main dining room is the same nightly and knows just what you like at your permanent table each night. Try and get the waiter Joepep. He is fantastic. Enjoy your trip and Happy sailing.

An overall good tour with good value. Our guide (Laila) was friendly and professional. We were picked up on time, the shuttle bus was cozy, and everything was as detailed in the description. Excellent activity

I had to “go with the flow” in the beginning, I didn’t know what was happening. In the end, I met all of my goals and more! We visited a lagoon, saw a Cenotes, got on a boat, did a lot of swimming, saw sea life while snorkeling, and Mayan Ruins from the ocean. I had a nine-year-old with me, it probably changed his life.

Spectacular

Holbox Island has amazing beaches! With a large area of shallow depth and crystal clear water. The journey from Playa del Carmen to the port of Chiquila takes about 3 hours, and the last stretch of the road is very deteriorated. We took an excursion with lunch included and when we arrived it was ready. Then we rented a golf cart at a rate of 20usd/hour to explore (the island is very small and the streets are very ugly, it is advisable to take advantage of the beach). Then we went to a fresh, sweet water well that is also very beautiful and refreshing.

It was our second tour with them, an unforgettable experience, the cenotes of casa tortuga have been the most beautiful I have seen so far, in Coba the cavern cenote is impressive, I want to emphasize that it is a long tour but very worthwhile, I recommend you to bring your drinks because it is expensive to buy them at the sites. All very nice indeed.

We took this excursion and enjoyed it fully. Robert Ramirez was our guide on the Manta, and was very insightful. He was informative and answered all our question. He was polite and fun. The entire crew was helpful to everyone. Serving drinks and lunch and making sure everyone was taken care of. They helped us on the boat and off. They interacted warmly. We also went on the island. We opted to take a cab instead of renting a golf cart. Be aware that the locals will come up to you and tell you they know you from the hotel you are staying at, just to get you into their stores. All in all it was a wonderful day!
