This is one of the best tours I’ve ever taken. Obviously Chichen Itza was the main draw for me, but Ek Balam was just as amazing and would be worth the trip by itself. Our guide Carmen was such a pleasure all around. She was witty and kind and so well informed about the sites, Mayan Culture and Mexico in general. I couldn’t have asked for more. Our driver Rodrigo was kind, attentive, funny and a very safe driver. 10 out of 10 all the way around. Thank you Carmen and Rodrigo for making this such a memorable trip.

Hello, I advise you to go directly to the beach, no need to pay a provider, if you arrive from the direction of Playa del Carmen ask the bus driver: stink stop Akumal, climb the bridge steps , more careful to cross the road. Then take the 1st road on your left, go to the end of this road, without stopping at the service providers, after paying access, contact the &der provider, wooden cabin, on the beach. Ask Miguel, he's very nice, and if you're not good at swimming he'll pull you off with his buoy. Oh, great. ESPECIALLY IMPERATIVE YOU HAVE TO BE THERE AT THE OPENING AT 8 O'CLOCK, there is hardly anyone in the water, which is easier to see turtles that are free.

A fantastic experience in Mayan history and culture! It is a long day, but absolutely worth it. We went with a small group of 6, which was ideal, it enabled a lot of personal interaction with the very knowledgeable and hilarious tour guide (Carmen! Lovely lady) Chichen itza is incredible and Ek Balam is a hidden gem away from the crowds deep in the jungle, making it feel mysterious and personal. The cenote and lunch at the small village was also amazing - people & staff were very friendly the whole tripThis was a very hot and long trip so make sure you prepare well, but once you do it'll be awesome.

I had a really great experience on this tour and would definitely recommend it.The pickup location was only about five minutes from my hotel in Playa del Carmen, which made the start of the day very easy and convenient. The tour guides were excellent – very friendly, knowledgeable and informative throughout the day. They did a great job explaining the history of the Mayan sites and also made sure everyone in the group felt comfortable and looked after.Chichen Itza itself was incredible to see in person and the guides shared lots of interesting information about the Mayan civilisation which made the visit even more meaningful.The cenote was also a highlight for me. Swimming there was such a unique experience and something I’ll definitely remember from my trip. We also got to try some tequila and sample some local Mexican food, which was a nice cultural touch. It was also interesting learning about the Mayan community and their traditions.I also met some really lovely people on the tour which made the day even more enjoyable.Overall it was a long but very rewarding day and a great way to experience some of the most famous sights in the region. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.

This tour was so fun! Jose Luis was really fun and full of love and knowledge about the Mayan culture and people. My friend and I had a great day and enjoyed every stop. Bring a hat! Chichen Itzsa is hot and there isn’t a ton of shade.

Great sites, tour needs better organization
The tour needs to be better organized. We waited for a long time to get going to pick up more individuals at their hotels, logistics at a stop to pick up people and turn in paperwork took a very long time; and then it took a long time to get to the first destination, Tulum. We did not arrive to Tulum until about noon, we were picked up at 7:30. Once there, it took at least an hour to get an English speaking guide to get there and lead the English speaking group to the tour. The tour guide, Valentin, was very nice and he tried very hard to communicate in English with the group, but the group needed better communication. I believe if the tour is better organized, people can spend a little more time at the sites without being so rushed.
