A memorable day on the Lagoon of Seven Colors
This was one of the highlights of our trip to Bacalar. The colors of the lagoon are incredible, and seeing them from the water really makes a difference. The tour was calm, informative, and well structured. Our guide made the day enjoyable with clear explanations and a friendly attitude. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and swim. A fantastic way to spend a morning or afternoon in Bacalar!!

Plus the company Tantum saved me at the last minute because the company that I had originally booked with stood me up and never showed up!!! A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!! We were blown away at the service and degree of expertise on this trip. As it happens, as a couple, we were the only ones in our van with our driver Victor and our guide Alvaro Sr.On route we reviewed Mayan math, having done Chitzen Itza earlier in the week. Upon arrival to Tulum the parking lot was packed, but Victor got us up front and Alvaro arranged to get us umbrellas to beat the sun.Alvaro made several suggestions, letting us decide how best to navigate the day. His expertise payed off as we got transport to the main site, and out again, having him literally take us to the front of the line as it was just the three of us to fit in to the golf carts.We next navigated to the Yul Ku lagoon, and were frankly happily surprised that Alvaro took us first hand into the lagoon and snorkelled with us. He was VERY active pointing out the many amazing and colorful sea life there.We had not anticipated this degree of service and wished the team Muchas Gracias!! at the end of this wonderful and highly rated excursion.

Great tour!! Our guide Misael was super knowledgeable and explained everything really well. Chichén Itzá was incredible, and the cenote was beautiful. We also liked the stop in Valladolid. The only downside was the long travel time, but we understand it’s because Chichén is pretty far from Cancún. Still, totally worth it!

Booked it kinda last minute and it turned out solid. Our guide Ana was super chill and explained everything in both English and Spanish. Tulum was beautiful but a bit rushed. Cobá was my fave—we rented bikes and rode through the jungle to the ruins. Cenote swim was refreshing, buffet was decent. Playa del Carmen at the end was cool for souvenirs and a quick walk. Long day but worth it. Take water and comfy shoes!!

This was a wonderful tour, a memorable experience my family will remember as one of our best vacations. We had a private van with driver and guide for 3 days, and this made for a relaxing time even in the sub-topical heat. Each day in the morning, we would visit a Mayan site , and the afternoons were for cooling off by the water (we visited 2 cenotes). My favorite experiences were the bike ride on the ancient Mayan road in Coba and the boat ride in the mangroves of Celestun. The city of Merida is so charming with many Yucatán restaurants and free musical performances at various parks in walking distance of our hotel. Our hotel in Merida had the biggest selection of breakfast food I have ever seen, too bad I was stuffed from dinner the nights before. Our guide Emilio, give that guy a PhD in Mayan history and hospitality. I have never booked a private tour before and this was my first time using Cool Cancun. I am so pleasantly satisfied. Also thank you to the iguanas, turkeys, flamingos and crocodiles .

We had an excellent guide, Tony, who gave us lots of interesting facts about Mayan culture, innovation, counting and language. He was very engaging, even holding our 4th and 2nd graders' attention. He was very accommodating and made sure all of our wishes were met.The driver was safe and timely. The van was very clean and the air conditioning was very welcome.

Great excursion!
Tulum Express is a great option if you’re looking to get away from the beach and learn about some of the area’s history without the time commitment that Chichen Itza requires. Price includes a 90 minute private van ride each way (with free water bottles), a brief stop with a shaman to be blessed, entrance into the historical site, and a guided tour with time to explore on your own. Martin was FANTASTIC, knowledgeable and funny, even though he’s a Packers fan :) Highly recommend to anyone looking for a shorter excursion!

Excellent trip and awesome service!
Our whole experience was excellent, and we enjoyed every moment of it. Alejandro was on top of things and provided information each day as needed for smoother experience throughout our trip. Lastly, trip went as it was planned and we will definitely be booking more with Algarabia Travel soon for future vacations!
