Fantastic Snorkelling Experience with Rodrigo!

We had a fantastic snorkelling tour with Rodrigo! He was a great guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive. He guided us through the water and pointed out the different kinds of fish and marine life we encountered along the way. It made the experience much more enjoyable and interesting. We highly recommend Rodrigo and Lighthouse Tours for a great snorkelling experience!

An Excellent Experience with a Wonderf

I really enjoyed the tour overall and was pleased with every aspect of the experience. My guide, Alan, was incredible. He had extensive knowledge of Mayan culture and even knew about the location and history of the different places we passed along the way. He was a very pleasant and knowledgeable person.The food was good overall. It was not the best, but I would have appreciated a little more food and perhaps a greater variety of traditional Mexican dishes.The entire tour was well organized, and the transportation was punctual. I would recommend being ready at least 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time, as they actually arrived five minutes earlier than the time indicated in the agency confirmation.Overall, I am very happy with this tour. Congratulations to the entire team for providing such a great experience!

I took this tour with my family, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. Our guide was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, and the entire staff did a great job throughout the day.The meeting point was very convenient, as they picked us up directly at the entrance of my hotel without any issues. I made sure to be ready 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time, as instructed in my confirmation message, and they arrived exactly on time.There are a lot of visitors at Chichén Itzá, but considering it's one of the most incredible archaeological sites in the world, that's completely understandable. The pyramid is absolutely breathtaking, and the cenote we visited was stunning.The lunch buffet was average. I wouldn't describe it as exceptional, but it certainly wasn't bad either. Keep in mind that drinks are not included with the meal, although I didn't find the prices to be unreasonable.The only part I didn't particularly enjoy was the visit to a Mayan village. While it included demonstrations of traditional Mayan rituals, it was also focused on selling handicrafts. My recommendation would be to save your shopping for Chichén Itzá, where I found the prices to be more affordable. Don't let that stop you from enjoying the tour it was still a very pleasant experience overall.Finally, Valladolid is a beautiful colonial town. I would love to return someday to explore it properly, since this tour only allows a brief visit. Even so, the itinerary was well organized, enjoyable, and made for a fantastic day.

We had an amazing experience on this full-day excursion with Jorge, our lead guide. He is a fantastic storyteller and a passionate advocate for Mayan and Mexican culture, while also remaining open-minded and respectful of other perspectives.It’s definitely a demanding tour at 13 to 14 hours, but the team was exceptionally professional throughout the day. Everything was very well organized, from transportation and site access to refreshments and meals, and they did a great job taking care of the whole group.The itinerary and sites were exactly as described, and we were lucky that it wasn’t too crowded in late July.Gracias, Jorge y todo el equipo.Andry (Canada)

The best possible experience

We went on this tour with our family and had such a great experience. Chichen Itza was absolutely amazing, and seeing it in person was something we'll never forget. Our guide was friendly and shared lots of interesting stories that kept everyone engaged. After that, we cooled off in the cenote, which was one of our favorite parts of the day. The local buffet was really good, and we enjoyed trying traditional food together. We also loved walking around Valladolid, it’s such a charming little town with colorful streets and a relaxed atmosphere. Everything was well organized, the transportation was comfortable, and the whole day went smoothly. We’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.

Diving into history and culture

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely fantastic day — highly recommend! We had the most incredible day visiting Chichén Itzá, the Chichikan Experience and Cenote, and the beautiful town of Valladolid, made even more special by our fantastic guides, Pastor and Juam, and our driver, Ricardo. Pastor and Juam were knowledgeable, friendly, entertaining and genuinely passionate about sharing the history and culture of the Mayan people. They brought Chichén Itzá to life with fascinating stories and information about the Kukulkán Temple, Great Ball Court, Platform of Venus, Square of a Thousand Columns and so much more. The Chichikan Experience and Cenote was another highlight, including the Mayan shaman blessing and ceremony. Our stop in Valladolid was lovely, although a massive storm and flash flooding left us absolutely drenched! 🌧️😂 It certainly made for an unforgettable adventure and plenty of laughs on the very wet trip back to the bus. A huge thank you to Ricardo as well, who safely navigated us throughout a very long day and was friendly and professional from start to finish. Pastor, Juam and Ricardo truly went above and beyond to make our day amazing. The tour was informative, fun, well organised and full of incredible experiences. If you're considering this tour, DO IT! We made some fantastic memories and would absolutely recommend it. 🇲🇽❤️ Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best snorkeling experience

Had a great experience with this snorkeling company! Everything was well organized, the staff was friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience really enjoyable.A special shoutout to the guy who helped me out when I forgot my swim shorts — he actually gave me a pair to use, which was incredibly kind and thoughtful.He also opened a brand-new bottle of tequila for me to taste without putting any pressure on me to buy it. That really showed how genuine and welcoming he was.Great service, great people, and a really fun experience. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a snorkeling trip! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The snorkeling tour with our guide Bradley (Cooper) and Captain Joe was super! Totally relaxed & not pushy. We had a lot of fun & Bradley took very friendly care of us. Even when our daughter could no longer snorkel, he pulled her the rest of the way with the life ring. Highly recommended!
