Underground River and Cave Tour at Rio Secreto
Overview
Step into a Hidden World Beneath the Jungle—Explore Río Secreto!
Embark on an unforgettable journey into the heart of the Yucatán Peninsula, where you’ll walk, wade, and swim through a crystal-clear underground river surrounded by stunning cave formations. Río Secreto is the longest semi-flooded cave in the region—and it's unlike anything you’ve ever experienced.
With expert guides leading small groups, you'll discover breathtaking galleries filled with stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years. Along this 800-meter path, enjoy a ceremonial toast, a buffet meal, and a glimpse into the mystical Mayan underworld.
Your adventure includes access to the natural reserve, safety equipment (wetsuit, helmet, life vest), lockers, towels, and round-trip transportation from the welcome center. This is a truly transformative experience—part adventure, part natural wonder, and 100% unforgettable.
