Welcome to an incredible adventure, if what you like is getting to know new places and being in contact with nature, then this activity is for you. We will take you to know the second largest coral reef in the world, the first one is in Australia. The barrier measures 621 miles and goes from Guatemala to Mexico, we will take you to a reef located in Puerto Morelos which is considered to be the most beautiful due to the great diversity that exists, this point is so famous since the only boats that arrive are The local ones and unlike other reefs, the corals can grow in larger dimensions than normal. The diversity of underwater life that you will find is incredible, we will be able to see fish of many colors and species, as well as stingray and some turtles. Join us on this wonderful adventure. The activity includes round-trip transportation, lunch, water, and two 40-minute swims each on the reef.

Meeting and Pickup
If your hotel is not listed, means you need to go to a special meeting point, please let us know in which hotel are you gonna stay so a representative of our company can contact you to indicate the meeting point and pick-up time.This service has two different schedules, the first one is for a morning tour and the pick up is at: CANCUN AND PLAYA DEL CARMEN ZONE between 8:00 to 8:30 am, TULUM ZONE between 7:00 to 8:00 am. We will be arriving to the park at 9:30 am.The second is for a noon tour and the pick up is at: CANCUN AND PLAYA DEL CARMEN ZONE between 12:00 to 12:30 Pm, TULUM ZONE between 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. We will be arriving to the park at 1:30 pm.The schedules vary according to the hotel, our representative will indicate the exact pick up time via mail or via text message. For Tulum hotels and airbnbs the special meeting point will be Super Aki Tulum Supermarket at downtown. Please consider transportation times for your pick up and drop off.
What To Expect
We pick you up at your hotel or meeting point, we will move to the beautiful magical town of Puerto Morelos where we will carry out our first activity, we will start with a small explanation at our check-in, there you can leave your things, we will board the boat and set sail towards the reef, We will make a visit to the coral reef, 40 minutes.
All the time you will be accompanied by our certified guides who will be guiding and explaining each part of the reef that we discover. You just have to follow the guide and he will be pointing out the points of interest and will give a brief explanation of what you are looking at. In the first reef we will see marine life in its majority and in the second reef we will admire the immense corals and the beauty they project.
later we will return to check-in where we can taste a delicious lunch in our restaurant on the seashore, we will take a short tour in the center of Puerto Morelos.

Yes, we allow pregnant women to go on snorkeling. However, it’s crucial to consult with your healthcare provider before doing so to assess your individual health and pregnancy stage.
Jan 2022Yes, this is possible, as long as you are comfortable going into the water. All Cool Cancun snorkeling tours adhere to strict safety regulations and have been designed to be enjoyed by all.
Your safety is our #1 priority, which is why:
- You will be wearing a flotation device at all times.
- On many tours, there is a stairway from the boat into the water so you won’t have to “jump” in!
- There are trained staff in the water and watching from the boat at all times.
For these reasons, we believe that even non-swimmers can have a wonderful time on our snorkeling trips, however, the final judgment call is yours to make. Please note we do not give refunds if you decide not to snorkel on the trip.
Oct 2021The snorkel gear we use on Cool Cancun tours is high quality and for your protection, the equipment is sanitized after each use. However, if you feel more comfortable using your own snorkeling equipment, feel free to bring it on the tour. Please note, there is no discount for providing your own equipment and we can’t be responsible for any lost or damaged items.

Oct 2021There are no legal age limits for snorkeling. We have found that age 5 or 6 is a good age to learn the basics of snorkeling, however, it’s entirely up to individuals to make the best choice for their family.
Sep 2021If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
