Overview

Head to the island of Cozumel, two hours off the coast of Riviera Maya, for a full day of boat-riding, snorkeling, fun and games on the 11-hour day trip. Explore the wonders of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the world's second largest, with a professional guide. All equipment is provided, as is hotel pickup and drop-off from Cancun or Riviera Maya, refreshments (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and lunch.

Discover "El Cielo" is a sandbar located 800 meters from the Cozumel coast. It gets its name because in this place you can swim and practice snorkeling and see a lot of starfish in the background.

The snorkeling time will take place at 2 different coral reefs called, Palancar and Colombia!

Pick up starts at 7am, depending your hotel location the time may change, we will contact you by email ton confirm the exact pick up time and location. We do pick up major hotels in Cancun and Riviera Maya, if you hotel in not deserved by our route we will set the closest pick up point.

What To Expect

We will take them three of the most beautiful cozumel reefs; Dzul-Ha, White House and Delilah, to finish on the famous Palancar beach, where you will enjoy an abundance of colorful fish, coral reef formations and other species. (30 min on each reef and on the beach).
Food will be served in restaurant "Casa del habano" where you will enjoy a delicious Mexican dish including fresh water during the meal.

Q: Can I go snorkeling if I cannot swim?
A:

Yes, this is possible, as long as you are comfortable going into the water. All Cool Cancun snorkeling tours adhere to strict safety regulations and have been designed to be enjoyed by all.

Your safety is our #1 priority, which is why:

  1. You will be wearing a flotation device at all times.
  2. On many tours, there is a stairway from the boat into the water so you won’t have to “jump” in!
  3. There are trained staff in the water and watching from the boat at all times.

For these reasons, we believe that even non-swimmers can have a wonderful time on our snorkeling trips, however, the final judgment call is yours to make. Please note we do not give refunds if you decide not to snorkel on the trip.

The snorkel gear we use on Cool Cancun tours is high quality and for your protection, the equipment is sanitized after each use. However, if you feel more comfortable using your own snorkeling equipment, feel free to bring it on the tour. Please note, there is no discount for providing your own equipment and we can’t be responsible for any lost or damaged items.

  • Cool Rewards is a loyalty program operated by Cool Destinations. Rewards may be earned by any eligible person holding a Cool Destinations account, subject to the Cool Destinations customer Terms of Use.

Earning rewards

  • Rewards can be earned by making bookings on the Cool Destinations website. You will be able to see the value of the rewards you can earn during the booking process.
  • Earned rewards will be issued in a pending state and will move to a confirmed state 24 hours after the start time of the experience.
  • Earned rewards will be available to redeem once they are no longer in a pending state.
  • For bookings that are moved to a different travel date, the rewards will be redeemable after the amended travel date.
  • If a booking where rewards were issued is canceled, the earned rewards will not be redeemable and will be moved to a canceled state.

Redeeming rewards

  • To redeem rewards, you must be logged into your Cool Destinations account.
  • Any available rewards will be automatically applied the next time you make a booking, and their value will be deducted from your order at checkout, unless you choose not to apply them, which requires you to indicate this via the toggle switch. Bookings made using rewards are subject to the standard Cool Destinations Customer Terms of Use.
