In this fishing village, the salt industry is indispensable. It was the salt deposits that accumulated in the lake that stained its waters with a spectacular pink hue.
Important information: From July 19 to August 19, 2023, due to the beginning of the salt harvest, the pink tone of Las Coloradas is much lower and you will not be able to appreciate the characteristic color of this area. We thank you for your understanding.
